I don’t buy it for a minute. The wild divergence of the polls shows them to be completely unreliable. This year will see the mother of all “Bradley” effects, for the simple reason that the Democrats and their media accomplices have played the race card more heavily than ever. Unless one is a committed Conservative who doesn’t care that opposing Obama brands you as a racist, there is too much incentive to hide your true opinion. Middle-of-the-roaders just don’t have the moral stamina to tell pollsters the truth. The other problem with the polls is that they still considerably overcount Democrats.
