Refuting Obama’s “socialist” views: I already said he’s not a socialist. “Spreading the wealth” was unfortunate verbage by Obama. Any change in income tax regulations in effect “spreads the wealth”. But if it causes far right extremists to have a brain explosion, maybe Obama should have said something more soothing to their ears like “take from the rich and give to the poor” 
And you ask me to defend socialism as a being a good thing? I’m as socialist as Joe the Plumber! (or wait, the crooked media/democrats didn’t find out he was a socialist did they?). I think you are being ridiculous to constantly suggest that if I don’t beieve the attacks by the smear machine that is the right wing, that Obama is a socialist/muslim/terrorist, then I and every other Obama supporter is a communist/socialist! Sorry to disappoint you–disagreeing with you does not make a person a rotton, better-dead-than-red commie. There are more types of people in this country than right wing propaganists and commies.

How much am I willing to over look to get my guy elected? I could ask you the same thing. Why are so many republicans jumping ship on YOUR messiahs? Are they communists too? Are they supporting terrorism too? If I thought there was any truth to your accusations, I would turn to McCain in a heart beat and kiss is near-in-the-grave ass. If I was so willing to over look Obama’s negatives, why would I read articles on this site and others that espouse views like yours?
Question for you Robert: How much of your soul are you willing to sell to the devil in your attempt to sell your extremist lies to ordiary people that don’t have all the time in the world to check and double check every accusation that you people pop up with?
And Lastly, regarding your most ridiculous question of all:

I read a comment by a republican on another thread that said she would like to put a bullet between the eyes of every liberal. I would have to say that I do not wish the same on republicans, no matter how right wing crazy they may be. I wish ill will on none of you (even the nasty ones). I love the fact that we can discuss oposite views without worry about bullets between eyes. And I would not like for Ayers to take up his old activities–I’m fairly certain that won’t happen but if it does I’m sure you will be standing by to pin the blame on your new president (Obama).
Robert I’m guessing you are a veteran of the cold war–meaning you are in your 60s or 70s. I know during the 50s and 60s and 70s there was a lot of worry and concern about commies (red scare/dominoe effect/destroy from within). And for good reason: “We will bury you” Kruchev told us. Maybe thats why you sound like you want to bring back McCarthyism–’cause you just can’t let it go. But Kruchev is dead, and Obama is not going to turn America into a gulag.
