I am curious at your assumption that he has a good soul. When this campaign strategy and all it’s splendid tactical maneuvers have taught us more than ever before in history, that the depths of the “soul” of this man who is running for POTUS, is unknown, still. There are two weeks left in this election. I have two memoirs which I’ve read and from which to make a character judgement on. I am still in wonderment if his choice of example over the issue of drawing parallels to racial bias and fear is personal or metaphorical. Either way, this innocent Grandma has been included in his parallel. We’re still waiting to see her teachings in his actions. Words have changed and so has his platform to morph into what he thinks and his handlers think others want to hear and see.
My personal roots come from a multinational, multicultural and bi-racial background. That does not affect my ability toward empathy and compassion to my family members who are ill. You are mixing the two and making an assumption for us. Unfortunately there has to be an answering of the common dimension of trust. Trust in that this is not just one more campaign decision that is “the right thing to do” at this time. I still am waiting for the real person to show himself. Behavior speaks louder than words and is ever so more lasting. This country is worth so much more than an assumption of Trust or a good soul in the hands of bad behavior!
