As a Latte sipping Left Coast Elitist, I find myself agreeing. Perhaps it is time to cutoff the money. In 2005, for example, a Godfearing self reliant salt-of-the-earth dwelling state like Kentucky received $1.51 in Federal spending vs. $1 in Federal Taxes paid.
