I’m no psychologist – I’n fact, I’ve been known to compare psychologists psychiatrists to practitioners of voodoo – but malignant narcicism leading to psychopathy does seem to make sense. I had always thought that malignant hedonism could lead to nihlism, but I’d never considered that particular scenario.
It would sure explain the dysfunctional nature of our political class: A bunch of lawyers – a group bound to mediocrity like no other – presuming to know what’s best for us.
