Reinventing facts? Wasn’t it BHO who talked to Joe first, which by default put Joe in the spotlight?
Joe-The-Plumber has simply become a metaphor for the regular blue-collar working man, whom, by the way, are in the middle class that the Dems claim to be fighting for.
My point was that if Joe-The-Plumber was other than a white male possible conservative voter, and had asked instead what was BHO’s favorite football team or some other benign question, this would have been a non-story from the beginning. But, OMG! Joe asked a simple direct question about BHO’s tax plan and BHO slipped up, giving America a glimpse of what BHO really thinks.
But, as is customary, dissent from the Left is enthusiastically and ruthlessly crushed.
