The same minds that link Islam to terrorism have linked Obama to terrorism. So how can we trust their judgement on Islam when they are so overtly wrong about Obama? Both are classic cases of guilt by association: since there are muslims who commit horrific actions, therefore Islam is evil and supports terrorism OR since Obama has sit with Ayers on a committee or has had tea with him, therefore he supports his actions. Both arguments can only convince the ignorant people. An informed person on the other hand will examine the evidence that matters the most: that is what Islam says about killing innocent people or what Obama says about Ayers’ actions. The experts in guilt by association, while having the right intentions, lack the intellectual capacity to differentiate between the two: our actions and the actions of those that are in one way or another are connected to us. It is the same poor judgement that frowns upon sitting on the same table with our enemies and advance our national interest wisely and put aside the cowboy mentality that has ruined this country for the past 8 years.
