FrankDavisPoet: Thanks for your effort at calculating your taxes for us, but it looks like you don’t understand the concept of tax brackets. Go to irs.gov and look it up. But here’s a hint: you aren’t paying 39.5% on your total AGI.
By the way, can you run the same numbers for what you’ve been paying under Bush? I know that would weaken your argument, but you’re all about accuracy, right?
Also, can you give us an idea of how we can balance our country’s budget by lowering taxes from where they are now?
