geokstr: I read your piece on narcissism, and you don’t give any examples to prove that Obama is a narcissist. In the last debate it was McCain who talked about himself, and Obama who talked about the American people. According to your criteria, McCain scores a lot higher on the narcissism scale. he thinks that his POW experience gives him a pass on everything else.
As for everyone who thinks that Obama is a socialist, you’ve got it wrong. Under Bush we have had socialization of risk and privatization of profits. That means if you make a lot of money you can keep it, but if you lose a lot, the rest of us will have to bail you out. I don’t see how Obama could possibly be worse for working people and the middle class than Bush or McCain, who will continue these policies. The economy does better under Democrats than Republicans — less unemployment, better returns on investment, etc. Calling Obama — who is actually a moderate Democrat– a socialist is just scare tactics.
