Be reasonable, Ruben. I know it’s hard for you, but try it just for once.

Joe the Plumber was an obvious plant. And there’s nothing wrong with that! It’s all part of how elections are conducted.

At the same time, it’s perfectly all right for people to try and determine whether or not Joe the Plumber was authentic (or a plant), and they did so. There’s nothing wrong with that either!

In any event, Joe the Plumber has gotten his 15 minutes of fame, and likely will get far more. More power to him.

In the meantime, I find your sense of moral outrage to ring rather false against your support of the gutter tactics of the McCain campaign. Not only are they dishonorable, but they’re not effective. In what cave were you guys hiding during the Democratic primaries? Hillary tried throwing this crap at Obama, and it didn’t stick any better then than it does now.

Or are you just trying to rally the Republican base? If that’s what this is all about, two weeks out from the election, you folks are in even deeper doo-doo than I thought.
