Thanks Jim. This is a comprehensive look at the events at Haditha that day. I have covered these issues in some detail, but not to this extent. I do have some comments concerning Lt. Col. Paul Ware’s report concerning Sharratt and the ‘knockdown’ argument it essentially becomes for the entire team of Marines that day, not just for the single Marine he was investigating.
In my opinion, this issue is closed. If I was the defending attorney for Wuterich or any remaining Marines, the first thing I would do is trot out Lt. Col. Paul Ware’s report and demand that it be answered line by line.
