“I’m afraid of brown people. I’m afraid the rich (5% of total population) will leave the country because they don’t want their taxes to be raised a little bit (and be cause they are America-hating traitors). I’m afraid of mythological WMD’s and I’m afraid of the dark(ies).” Wow. All the republican base has left is their fear and pride. It’s kinda sad, in a way. But the age of fascist, repugnant, sickening fear-politics is almost over, I hope. I did enjoy a recent Science article that concluded Republican voters are generally fearful voters. Now, I know what you are going to say: science and knowledge are liberal conspiracies. But a message to the Republican base: don’t be afraid!
