Excellent piece.
There are a few questions that remain, though.
Is the return of the Sudanese diaspora fueled by economics or nationalism? Are they contributing to the betterment of the nation? Will they stay?
How will the Bashir regime take to long term modernization? Will they co opt the efforts or will they hit back when they think things have gone too far?
There are a lot of unknowns for Sudan- and many wild cards.
