Hey, if anybody was paying attention we wouldn’t be choosing between a communist and an old senator of no particular party, now would we.
O! is an empty suit. He might be an unmitigated disaster as a president should he win (by NO means a given), make no mistake about it, but it will be more because his handlers get greedy than any unique capacity he will have brought to the office.
Smartest thing the Republicans should be doing between now and 2010 is making sure their state primaries are CLOSED – party only – so that the Democrats don’t get to pick their opponent again.
