In my view Senator McCain and his handlers have caused all the negative attention to brought upon Mr Wurzelbacher not Senator Obama or the Democratic party. Prior to last Wednesday night’s debate and Senator McCain evoking “Joe the Plumber’ there was as far as I am aware little media interest in Mr Wurzelbacher or his encounter with Senator Obama. It was only after the Republica’s and Senator McCain choose to draw attention to Mr Wurzelbacher during the course of the debate, and made Mr Wurzelbacher into some sort of minor celebrity that the media started doing their job which is to investigate a story.
