Poor Joe, you are not making the imbecilic argument that McCain should not collect SS because he is rich now are you? Did he pay into the system? Then why the hell should he not be able to collect from it? Screw you for even trying to guilt people into not collecting what they are owed. The reason SS is going broke is because it is a damned Ponzi or pyramid scheme that would land any else but the government in jail if they ran one. People do not pay into it for their own retirement. People that are working pay in, and government pays out to those that are qualified to collect. This scam is predicated on there always being a much larger number of people paying in than those collecting. When that goes away the scheme falls apart. The government has known for decades that when the boomers retired the Ponzi scheme would implode, but corrupt democrats whom have seen SS as a way for them to buy votes have resisted every and all attempts to correct this train wreck.
