Obama Supporter Assaults Female McCain Volunteer in New York
Alessandro – since I am a lawyer and you are not, suggest you try reading the law.
Actually voting under an assumed name or more than once is illegal, and voting when you are ineligible (because you are too young, have a criminal record, or are in the wrong district) nullifies your vote.
Now – forgery is certainly illegal, and it could be argued that somebody forged Mickey Mouse’s signature…if Mickey Mouse had a signature…
The point is, nobody at ACORN wanted bad registrations, because it’s an administrative nightmare for them and gives them a PR headache.
Oh, by the way – did you know that McCain was ACORN’s keynote speaker at a February 2006 event in Miami?
Listen, honey, I have been around politics for 40 years. I know stuff you can only hope to learn one day. And what I know is this: the McCain campaign is flailing the mud around wildly, hoping something will stick. That is a totally different argument to the one which I have made here until I’m blue in the face, and that is because of these accusations – which just happen to be false, and the way the rhetoric John McCain and his campaign has used would make you think this organization – which is administratatively inept at worse – was some kind of front for Al Qaeda – have resulted in DEATH THREATS made against innocent office staff all over the country.
How would you like it if I made a DEATH THREAT against you for posting here, just because we happen to disagree? Would you think that is reasonable? Well, of course not!! We aren’t talking about the usual tit-for-tat, name-calling, sticking tongues out here, we are talking about threats of physical violence and murder.
I have counted at least six posts to this blog where the writers have implied that they want to kill Obama supporters. So I have taken the liberty of posting a selection on Talking Points Memo’s Cafe Blog, so a thousand liberals will come over here and lecture those posters on why they are such complete and total idiots.
Personally, I think anybody who makes a death threat, even a casual one, should be subject to police interrogation, arrest and actual charges (and maybe even a few days cooling off in the pokey), but because of the damn liberals, the damn right-wingers can say just about anything they want without serious repercussions – and usually do.
And as for the far left – well, they’re more bleating and silly than violent. I don’t fear them so much as ridicule them.
