Obama Supporter Assaults Female McCain Volunteer in New York
First off, what an extreme A-hole! As an Obama supporter I condemn this man’s actions without hesitation. I don’t care what this woman might have said, physical assault is never warranted.
Today I read that several of ACORN’s staff have received direct death threats since John McCain accused them in the Hofstra of vote fraud. Turns out, ACORN was defrauded, not the electoral process.
Since McCain’s remarks, ACORN’s 87 offices across the country have received hundreds of hostile e-mails, many of them containing racial slurs, an ACORN spokesman said. “We believe that these are specifically McCain supporters” sending the messages”.
The e-mail to a Cleveland employee who received a death threat was traced to a Facebook Web page in the name of a Baltimore man. It featured a photo of a McCain-Palin sign.
And a Fairfield, Ohio man put a noose around the neck of an effigy of Obama (and drew a Star of David and the word “Husain” on it) and hung it from a tree in his front yard. Mike Lumford refused to be interviewed on camera, but told local reporters that only white Christians should be allowed to run the country, and that African-Americans and other minorities should not “be allowed”. I wondered what that meant – that they should be killed if they try?
