OK, here’s another instance where Obama’s few legislative actions have had a questionable effect on the black community.
Since the legalization of abortion, 13 million black babies have been aborted in the US. The black population is around 39 million. Planned Parenthood clinics and other abortion facilities are preferentially located in low income often black communities. Obama favors any form of abortion at all, including some that are horrific and wants the government to pay for it.
The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a proponent of eugenics.
The effect of having an abortion is pretty bad on the parent’s futures. Choosing to kill your own unborn child is a callous act and especially when many people would be thrilled to adopt the baby. Often young teenagers have abortions without really understanding the consequences and live with the guilt and regret the rest of their lives. The incidence of drug abuse and alcoholism is far higher, just to escape the guilt. Abortion may not be considered a crime any more but it is a crime against the community in many ways. Encouraging people to take responsibility for their actions and to care about other people is what makes a strong community and nation. That’s not what Obama sees as important.
