Maybe bloggers could give voice to American disregard to The Olympics in general and the 2008 Beijing Olympics in particular. It would be funny if the Chinese and NBC spent tons of money promoting the games and Americans tuned them out. It would be even funnier if alternative made in USA sports entertainment like pre-season football and NASCAR got a much larger TV market share. After all, both the Chinese people and many Olympic sports appear to be somewhat effeminate.
