Obama Supporter Assaults Female McCain Volunteer in New York
The REAL issue in reports of this type is not the partisanship of the media or the righteousness or evil of the liberal or conservative cause. These acts are perpetrated by Americans againgst Americans, regardless of party affiliation. The analysis of such actions, whether emanating from left or right on the political spectrum, suggests retaliation is okay, because the other side did something similar. Sounds like a puerile playground justification for beating up another kid; he/she called me a name first. The real issue here is that America is tearing itself apart from within, and not a radical Muslim named Hussein in sight. As an independent who refuses to abandon common sense may I suggest that all of you political ideologues get a grip on your emotions and start attempting to act like rational adults. Patriotism has many colors, but it does not thrive in an atmosphere of irrational behavior, ideological hatred, whining, and stupidity.
