Grizzly, There is reason why you don’t fit in Israel, Reform Judaism along with same Hasidic nuts had objected The creation of the State Of Israel in 1930′s. Unfortunately Reform Judaism have turned 3000 years of Jewish traditions up side down. And you are the perfect beneficiary.
