As a “rare bird” in Seattle (aka a conservative) I have been flipped off more times than I can count for having a McCain/Palin sticker on my car. I have been shouted at; flipped off; cussed at (even in from of my young kids).
Last election, my car was keyed and my Bush/Cheney sticker ripped off/defaced.
People in Seattle joke about how “risky” it is to admit you are a conservative here. Liberals are VERY violent and destructive in these parts…..
