if you read my second blog (233) you’ll see I’m also voting McCain.. my point is not about party but about substance and particularly about some of the incredibly ignorant, quite frightening things I’m reading on this blog.. unabashed racism, even paranoia about needing to get guns to fend off liberals….
as you’ll have no doubt learned from your travels, as I have, that one of the great things in life is to learn about others, their culture, appreciate their lives, food etc… not be scared of it and certainly not ridicule or hate it… I believe in small government, low taxes and individual responsibility, but I’m also sickened by this undercurrent of “you’re different so I hate you”….. this paranoia comes from lack of exposure to other people and their lives and cultures…..
and like I said, it gives us Republicans, who truly believe in small government and low taxes, a very bad name
