It is too late for Fred Thompson. At best, he can try to become Rudy Giuliani’s running mate. The former New York mayor will destroy Hillary Clinton in a one on one debate. He is the candidate that truly scares her campaign professionals.
Its also time for Republicans to circle the wagons around Rudy and get serious about defeating the self hating American Democrats in 2008. Much of the Democratic Party believes the war of terror is greatly exaggerated. We are allegedly imperialist thugs who victimized Osama bin Ladin and his buddies. 9/11 was merely a well deserved “blow back.” We cannot allow these naive and feckless people capture the White House.
