Saw it all at Hopkins in the 60′s: the Nassau County Crowd never changes.
Simply put, they and many others put ideals, inculcated in their closed communities far above experience. There is no compassion for those who do not fit the mold.
If Israel dies, it will be because many Israeli follow the Marxist view, which played a large role in founding the country. I might say many Jews are like so many Bourbons: they forget nothing and learn nothing.
