Man, I smell troll in here. Not just any kind of troll, treatise troll. He needs to be ignored. He knows what his name is, and his poor beats and rhymes rat him out. I also smell a troll enabler, who thinks that his arabesque will make him less grotesque. Nonetheless, both should be ignored posthaste.

Spencer: It is said that one should be delighted to be the derision of fools. For the foolish deride what is good and hold dear what is nonsense. So it’s really a compliment. Not that I wish I had such a steadfast detractor, but you know. Consolation and all.

Good rebuttal. As I recall, Derb is of the school of ‘It’s all Greek to me.’ Free thinking? It’s a form of close mindedness. He simply has closed his mind to the differences in any kind of thinking that revolves around religion, perhaps especially Christianity. I think there’s a scripture for that one from old Paul. Anyhow, he wants very hard to have a good objection to what you’ve written and can’t seem to fish one out. It’s hardly the fault of his skill; he just lacks the resources in this case to make a strong argument.
