You are wrong. It is well documented that hundreds of inmates at Guantanamo were completely innocent.

Anyway, the author wasn’t comparing Guantanamo to Auschwitz. He was comparing Dreyfus’ lack of a fair trial and unjust imprisonment to the experience of the Gitmo detainees, many of whom remained imprisoned even after they were cleared of wrong doing.
