Well… to be sure. The Dems bring all the factions into the big tent. Solving their problems will let them back out. Can’t have any of that!
And the black leaders? They seem to live very well, indeed. Look at the tapes of the candidates’ speeches to the NAACP. The NAACP looks like an American version of the Soviet Congress: all well-dressed, well-coiffed, and overly-well fed. It’s Animal Farm.
How about abortion? 52% of abortions are black babies. More. Than. Half. That’ll keep the number of pickaninnies down, right? The Dems sure love the useful idiots.
But, they’re not done standing up for the blacks. Oh, no. The long entitlement culture, the generations of welfare, simply destroyed the idea of the black family. 90% of black children are born out of wedlock. Half don’t even know who their daddies are. Who needs primary family units when the Nanny-state will take care of you?
Blacks are simply less free since civil rights began… literally. Half of all black males will spend some time in the slammer. 1/3 are there now. They make great daddies, no? 40% of black females now will never marry. Imagine. They will never know the joy and security of a loving marriage, and security for their children. More, they get to see their kids grow up the same way!
But hey, their plight keeps them stirred up, and then the Dem leaders blame someone else (Pubs), and ensure their continued support. This is the same tactic used by tyrants the world over. Keep the people oppressed, and blame an outside enemy. Works every time.
Think I’m exaggerating? Look at the women. 60% of Dem delegates this year at the DNC were women, but they couldn’t get their woman on the ballot for VP. They do almost all the work. They man the phones and headquarters, they decorate, and bring food, and get out the vote… but the white men still have all the power. Can’t actually solve their problems, can they? That would let them out of the big tent.
Contrast that with the Pubs. They solve problems, and the problems go away… and people forget the problems existed. Iraq’s no longer an issue in this election. What happened to the high price of oil? Remember that? Who ended welfare dependence? Who fixed the economy after the dot.com bust? Remember terrorism? Um, no. Before the meltdown, only 4% of people had it on their radar anymore. Now? Terrorism? Wuzzat?
Oh, and who has a woman on the ticket?
