Davey, Davey, Davey,
First of all, Dr. Spencer would not lower himself to the level of your absurd accusations to “debate” you. I see you have a lovely comment on your home page…..
May the Day Come When All the People of the World Choose to Live in Peace with God, Nature and Humankind.
Until That day Comes I Choose to Live at Peace with All and Refuse to Hate Anyone.
It sure looks like to me that you certainly hate Dr. Spencer and his readers. In my book that makes you a complete hypocrite and greatly diminishes any credibility in your words.
I don’t think anyone will deny that the use of atomic (not nuclear) bombs was used to end WWII, and that several thousands of civilians were killed. However to imply that it was the direct result of Christianity is a huge leap from logic and historical FACTS. If Christianity was the motive (as you claim) then why didn’t the USA continue on and conquer Japan and make it a Christian outpost? Your erroneous logic is laughable.
But let us set history aside for a moment shall we?? What about the world right now? I can’t tell you how many never ending stories in the paper and the news programs about those damned radical Christians killing innocent people all over the globe. (sarcasm by the way) The Islamic jihadis will tell you straight up that their mission is a global caliphate for Islamic law in the name of Allah.
I in no way am implying that we should kill all Muslims. Nor do I think that a nuclear weapon dropped on Mecca or Medina is the answer. You come on here throwing out ridiculous statements, make horrendous personal attacks, and yet offer nothing towards rational discourse and debate. It is hard to debate someone when you call them a bigot every other word.
And by the way, I think you need to be educated as to the definition of bigot: “A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own.” You see, Dr. Spencer has even asked for a banding of differing faiths and atheists to quell the radical tenets of Islam. So your also (by definition) wrong on your use of that term as well.
Regards,
CJ
