I posted the following on the original thread. Since that argument died several days ago (which the other posters failed to notice, while they were arguing I was on the beach with the dolphins & ospreys):
The United States of America dropped nuclear bombs the civilians of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing over 150,000 civilians in the process and leaving an equal number to suffer horrendously from injuries and radiation poisoning.
Will anyone argue that the above acts constitute the behavior of a peace-loving Christian nation?
Or … does America have a license to kill as many foreign civilians as it wishes?

If Robert Spencer can exonerate Christianity from its crime of vaporizing over 100,000 Japanese civilians (including thousands of Japanese Christians, we’ll meet in Heaven!) … let him do so.
Once he gets done exonerating Christianity for this act of terroristic genocide, there are some other acts of genocide committed by the Christians which we can debate.
For example, as I resident of Florida I am well aware of the Christian genocide against the native inhabitants of this state (and surrounding regions).
The Natives, remember, too. They remember the crimes which America’s devout Christians committed against them in the 19th century. How could they forget?
The natives were nearly exterminated by the Americans. They survived only because they hid in the Everglades, a place so difficult that the American armies could not reach it.
The Everglades saved the Native Americans from extermination. America’s peace-loving Christians failed and that is why a small population survived.
Will Robert Spencer explain how this act of genocide committed by the Christians is consistent with his own theory that Christianity is a religion of peace & tolerance & love (except for the Muslims, of course!).
