I know it is important that those of us who can should stand against the loopiness of John Derbyshire, he is, after all, European. That should explain all to most reasonably sane people. And, I also know that Robert Spencer is the perfect person to put this Derbyshire in his “place” (were he to stay there forever). But in truth, just what percentage of the population not only in the West but the world would be able to read each and understand more than 2% of what they were reading. John, I sense, does it because it is there to do and Robert because it needs to be done. The only consolation and sadness for me is that when my head is bobbing down that blood flooded street, John’s will be but feet from mine and all of my family, friends and associates. Robert, no doubt, will, with sword, fight to the end taking a number of them with him and he at least will be able to say to a barren landscape “I told you so”.
