Never fear. They’ll find a way to spin progress as defeat. Up is down, black is white, progress is defeat etc. Lather, rinse, repeat. And if that fails then they can trot out the boogeyman, global warming, and decry our nation for failing to mobilize against the real threat, planetary doom brought about by our rapacious plundering of mother Gaia.
