If the top wage earners took a month of unpauid leave next year, it would drop federal revenues by a significant amount.
Given that Obama wants to eliminate the ceiling on FICA, thus raising taxes by 15% on the top wage earners ( anyone making over 100K), it would be a good investment to forgo those earnings to send a message.
One could also go back to college to sharpen skills.
If you own a business, you could just close the doors and adjust your personal life. The AR in the pipeline would be a good enough payoff in the short term.
If the sabattical mentioned above were planned on the same month, we could all show up in DC for a protest. We could call it the million taxpayer march!
