In response to the discussion about “caring for others” – caring for others is a voluntary action. I agree that we should care for others. Stealing from some to give to others is not my definition of “caring for others.” Forcing some to support others is not “caring for others,” it is slavery. The resulting government bureaucracy has a horific track record of “caring for others.” The best way to “care for others” is to support a free society where free people search for the best ways to “care for others” through voluntary coordination.
