deguello – I agree that the culture has gone downhill. I just don’t buy some of the products, nor do I allow my girls to get certain ones. I don’t let them play with Bratz dolls, either. But that’s me as a parent, not the government.
I’m strongly against the government getting involved, as they can only make things far worse… like the Islamists do. That’s the difference. The thing to remember is that the Islamists are FAR RIGHT, not left. I don’t want our culture warriors emulating that behavior. Fascism is a very small shift to the right for them. Good belief systems become bad systems with just such a small shift.
