Fred, I don’t have any idea about the polls, I just know that historically, they’ve been wrong. What is certain is the democratic party is split. Roughly 14% of people who have always voted for democrats are voting for McCain in this election. Follow the links in comments 80 & 81 and you will see how wide is the split. Each of these votes does double duty. It subtracts one from Obama and adds one to McCain. When you run these numbers against the state by state results in 2004, it becomes apparent that Obama will not likely succeed no matter what McCain, MSM, or ACORN does, or does not do.
