*yawn* Every 4 years, whoever the Republicans run for POTUS gets called racist, sexist, bigot homophobe who wants to eat poor, black babies for breakfast, all uncritically accepted by a press actively rooting for the Democrats. Then when the Republican dares to point out an unsavory fact about the Democrat, we get a barrage of lectures about how negative campaigning is hurting the “national discourse” and those waskiwiy wepublicans will lose because of it and that negative canpaigning “never works”. Every 4 years. You could plant crops by it, I swear. But, they always whine that telling the truth about them is “negative campaigning”.
Despite the facy that going negative *does* work. Otherwise, why all the hysteria? McCain needs to keep it up, because, judging from the shrieking and matronly vapors by the drive-by media, he is on target.
