With McCain changing positions/policies frequently, there is no consistent theme/direction to his campaign. He has had many disruptions in his campaign staff since he began. This is just a continuation of his ‘shoot from the hip’ approach that is his trademark.
McCain is a decent man, ill-prepared, and past his prime who has bad advice from the lobbyists/staff surrounding him.
