I think it’s wonderful that McCain’s embrace of the whole pathetic, wackadoodle “Obama’s a Terrorist” slur is turning on him like the Golem-Frankenstein-Monster-from-the-Id” it is.
McCain is looking more and more like the Rev. Kane from “Poltergeist II,” while Sister Sarah is coming off as the Jim Jones of wingnut tribal xenophobia/anti-science/anti-education blood-sacrifice. Even voters who secretly harbor the same primitive, right-wing insecurities are appalled at what that stuff looks like when it manifests, nakedly, in the public discourse.
McCain/Palin is like a nonstop marathon of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” “12 Angry Men” and “Inherit the Wind.” How many voters are seeing in these two the rotten corrosive evil within themselves, and turning away, ashamed?
