I happen to find the links very informative since half the time I’m reading this site I’m doing research on the topics. I ctrl click as I go so I can pile through the articles once I’m done reading. Links don’t -always- hijack the article.
If the bold text is truly that distracting – increase the font size or zoom [ctrl + mouse scroll wheel] so the difference between the bold text and the normal text isn’t as exaggerated.
