All sensible people realize that the above opinion piece is highly reactionary. It clearly contradicts all responsible government reports to date.
The Ministry of Plenty reported only yesterday that economic production in all sectors has increased 300% over last year, and it is expected to increase another 450% in the next year. In fact, what is amazing is that this has occurred even though the Ministry of Peace reports an increase of international terrorism of 500%. (No need to worry here. Big Bro has the affairs of this sector throughly under his control, being a Nobel Peace Prize winner, and all.)
