Wasn’t Walter Annenberg a major contributor to the Republican Party, palling around with Republican presidents? Am I missing something? You can see many photos of him with Ronald Reagan and wasn’t he an Ambassador appointed by a (gulp) Republican?
Maybe the connection to examine is Barack Obama and Walter Annenberg? Could Barack really be a republican sympathizer, or maybe he just wanted an invite to Sunnylands to hang out with Annenberg and Frank Sinatra. Oh the conspiracy.
