This article implies that Sarah Palin appeals to “Middle America”. I think that is a huge exageration. If she appeals to any major group it is the bible in one hand, gun in the other, barely educated, rebel flag waving, tobacco chewing, racists of America. If the European news has caught on to the fact that America might once again elect an ignoramus for president and speak out about it, I say good for them for calling it what it is. McCain should NOT have to consult with any country in choosing his running mate!—-But he damn well ought to put some common sense and responsibility into his choosing process. It is obvious to any thinking person of the United States and of the World that John McCain has betrayed us all in choosing a running mate just as dumb or perhaps dumber than the president we have suffered under for the past 8 yrs. Thank God that the European press has more guts than our American press to tell the truth an not worry about the Right Wing crying that they are being biased!
