I think that the rioters in London and other British cities rioted because it was fun. They were mainly young men, 19-25, according to the magistrate’s report I read of those arrested. They were not poor, since many of them were using Blackberrys – quite expensive.
Question: who organized these riots? They did not originate from thin air.
