I had a boyfriend who worked as a music critic. I saw him work. He was so mean that they sued him a couple of times. When I asked him why he continue to write such a sh–t, he answered: nobody wants to read positive things, they are dull, people want blood. And when I asked him what is with all the performers he trashed for the sake of attention, he said: Nobody is perfect, everybody makes mistakes, so you don’t even have to lie, just exaggerate the mistakes and take your money. And he said all the successfull critics are the same.
