I can’t help but link the attitudes outlined in this article to the behavior of recent “flash mobs” in Wisconsin and elsewhere. Young blacks, who aren’t really deprived in the basic sense of the word, see a black President and a black Attorney General who have already shown their willingness to look the other way, and think they’ve been given carte blanche to do whatever they like, because “it’s all society’s fault”, whatever “it” is.
To be fair, that goes for young white anarchists and union goons, too, when they abandon the rules of a civilized society.
