Mr Miller, has anyone done a compare and contrast using both the Kerner report and “Rivers of Blood, Years of Darkness”? The point on riots is timely after the events in Madison earlier. Interestingly, James Michener made a similar point about lack of prompt police response to the Water Street riots in Kent, Ohio just before the KSU killings in 1970. The current economic hurricane may be about to wash out the sand on which two generations of social policy was erected. Hope and pray for peaceful change in 2012. GBUSA
