Dude, I am a woman blessed by the boob fairy, and I assure you, walking round topless would not reduce sweat without, er, manual assistance (and wouldn’t THAT get me stared at!) A good support bra and light, loose garments actually assist in keeping women like me cool.
This “protest” was not about freeing women from the horror of shirts; it was about getting attention, and it succeeded.
