People like “Commonsense” and “SarahBiggestFan” do not at all take this article seriously. Ayers and Dohrn are of no concern to them, because they approve of communist terrorists taking the fight to our country. It is so brave of them to attack the United States of America with words on a keyboard, when I doubt they would have the courage to take up arms in the socialist struggle against their hated capitalist oppressors.
As a veteran of the Marxist movement many years ago, I recognize the type. They are a dime a dozen.
Many of those who post here, like me, are working professionals with advanced educations – and who happen to agree with the Constitution as it was written and as the Founders intended. Those like me had a sojourn on the Left and have come out on the other side convinced that Karl Marx and all of the later theoreticians of that intellectual tradition going back to Rousseau was in error.
Obama, being a disciple of Saul Alinsky, chose to place himself squarely within that tradition. Hardly anyone notices this, which is in plain sight. Alinksy was a Communist intellectual who wrote a program for subverting capitalism and the United States’ Constitution from within our society.
Ayers and Dohrn are avowed Communists who have never rescinded that loyalty, and Obama made an alliance with these people, to further his own career and to further the socialist revolution. Those who agree with this have endless ways of affirming it and endless disguises through which they use coded language to identify themselves to fellow travelers.
